This is a one of a kind 1965 No Mint Mark Quarter containing numerous mint errors. There is doubling around George Washington’s head, as well as in the lettering and date as well. There is a die crack error to the left of Washington’s neck. Struck through error on the reverse side of the coin. Potentially more errors.
1965 was the year the U.S. mint transitioned from 90% Silver Quarters to a new metal composition Cupronickel.
