The Aftco "Big Foot" Super Heavy Duty (SHD) roller guides are rugged and roomy frames for ball big game fishing rods that need the strongest guide with extra space for knot clearance (1/4" knot clearance). The rollers are extra large and extra tough to endure the heavy line class 80#- unlimited punishment. AFLON, an exclusive Teflon formulation, is bonded to all bearings to provide lasting lubrication and protection.
The oversized feet are precisely formed to match the contours of rods in this class, and they grip the rod with exceptional strength. Rod builders love them because the edges of the AFTCO roller guide feet are "feathered" to allow winding thread to "climb" over them easily.
