DuraTech web SRD is a selfÄêretracting lifeline for those working at height.

At the top of the unit, a swiveling aluminum eye provides an attachment point for a selfÄêclosing and selfÄêlocking connector.

The SRD body consists of a glassÄêfilled nylon housing that contains a 6 Ft.

Length of high performance polyethylene and polyester fiber webbing wound onto a springÄêtensioned drum.

The attachment end of the webbing may be configured with a variety of sewnÄêon connectors.

A stitched fold in the lifeline between the housing and the leg end connector functions as a retraction stop and a fall arrest impact indicator.

If the stitching is torn loose, remove the unit from service.

When attached and the worker moves about, the lifeline pays out and retracts, automatically maintaining a taut line.

If a fall occurs, a centrifugal system engages a lock mechanism that applies a disc brake, slowing and arresting the fall.
