This very rare & exquisite set of chocolate /demitasse cup set by H& Co. features a stunning beautifully scalloped set of pansies on spiderwebs w/ heavy brushed gold gilding. The set is signed "A". Research was fruitless. Could be A.Klingenberg?( A. Klingenberg operated a porcelain factory and decorating studio in Limoges beginning in the 1880s).Or hobbyist decorated?
Year manufactured circa 1887 as per manuf. mark, adding to the unique history and value of this Rare set. Measures Appx. 3" x 2.5" cup & 4.5" saucer. No imperfections noted from visual viewing. In lovely shape.
