Reduced scale replica of Henry Struck's 1940 New Ruler.
The original 72" New Ruler was first published in
April 1940 Air Trails Magazine.

Micro Models design, by Sam Blumberg, my stepfather in 1973.
Model #10 of the 12 old timers he kitted in the 1970's to 1980's.
Designed for .020 to .035 engines.
For sport or contest free flight.

31" wingspan
2.32:1 scale

These old kits easily convert to electric motor and R/C systems.

Close inspection of parts revealed the kit is only missing the clear plastic windshield material. Easily fabricated from a clear plastic water bottle.
Otherwise a complete kit, with all strip stock, printed parts sheets, nose cowling, two sheets tissue covering, pre-cut parts pack, reinforcement cloth, wheels, wire, screws & dowel
